This is testimony that Cotmore Construction Limited, represented by Mr Ben Martin, has successfully completed the Worminghall Village Hall Extension Project to the complete satisfaction of the Trustees, Committee and Worminghall community.

The main building contract for this £100k project was awarded to Cotmore in January 2024 with site works commencing on 5 February 2024. Despite very difficult winter conditions, Ben and his team of very skilled artisans, worked throughout and completed the project on time and within budget by the end of April 2024. The workmanship has passed all building control inspections with all statutory certificates being issued by the third party inspection authority.

The work scope included demolition and knocking through from an outdated toilet block and store, construction of a new toilet block extension with EPDM roofing, cubicle partitions, sanitary ware, LED auto-lighting and ventilation, heating, hot and cold water reticulation, Doc M disabled/inclusive toilet, new storeroom, new kitchen and new garden double fire door exit with ramp and patio.

The work has been carried out very professionally and with a high degree of quality workmanship. Any problems encountered along the way with adapting and extending this Victorian era village hall have always been amiably and quickly resolved by the Cotmore team. I have no hesitation in recommending Cotmore Construction for other building extension and modification projects.

Ben recently constructed a very attractive porch over our front door. He did an excellent job and it has transformed the appearance of our cottage. Constructed from green oak and welsh tiles he completed the job on time and within budget. His workmanship is first class and he is a pleasure to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone considering a construction project.
